Small Plastic Bags - Hints and Tips
The small plastic bags have been used eagerly for many purposes. Many people use these bags at a higher rate and do not consider the consequences that are faced by the environment. While people are busy using these bags, the do not analyse the after-effects that are faced by the seas and other water bodies. The water gets contaminated and people don’t think that the misuse of these bags is having bad effects on the water which they have to drink later on. When a survey was done by the Marine society which works for the conservation of the water bodies, it was found out that nearly 45 small plastic bags are found out scattered over every kilometre at a single beach. Many of these bags get washed away by the waver coming to the shore and thus get accumulated in the sea. The biggest problem is the fact that if these small plastic bags get into the sea, they will not only contaminate the water but will also have bad effects on the health of the animals residing in the sea. People often give a second thought to the use of small plastic bags while they are having fun on the beach or in a boat floating over the sea. They do not realise that the small plastic bags in which they are eating their favourite popcorns or any other eatables. The biggest problem is the fact that every continent is surrounded with a coastline and it is true that nearly 70 % area of the map on the globe is consumed by water bodies. We should be aware of the fact that these small plastic bags are not even bio-degradable and then cause bad effects on the environment. Often these bags get whipped away by the blowing wind and get carried off to the water that is being consumed by the people. Since these small plastic bags will not get decomposed for more than hundred years and get embedded in the base of the sea, the effects made by these bags will be long lasting and really bad. The marine wildlife along with the water gets ruined with these bags. A great deal of unneeded stress along with the higher rate of negative impact will b caused on the life of the creatures which are dwelling in the ocean and sea with these small plastic bags. The worst circumstances are faced when these bags are swallowed by the animals. For e.g. the predators of the jellyfish can gulp down these tangled small plastic bags. It might happen that these animals can swallow these bags and then chock themselves to death as their digestive tracts can get tangled with these bags as the fatal problems cause by them are very bad. These things are happening at high rate all over the world and damaging the sea bodies very rapidly. The bead effects of these bags not only end up on snatching the lives of the marine animals but also conclude by making these animals toxic if they are not dead. As humans consume these animals, it is very likely that they suffer with various diseases.
